The Kansas State University Gardens is an outdoor botanical oasis, that displays beautiful flowers all year long. Here you will find three specialty gardens and four plant collections. Take a stroll through the garden in the spring months to watch the start of the blooming season. This is a fun, free activity and is a must-see. The space serves as a research area for K-State students, as well as beautiful grounds for visitors and a unique event space.

Liquid Art Winery and Estate is located near Prairewood! It is perched on top of a hill and is comprised of a full-production winery, tasting room, event center, and Estate vineyard. Offerings include wine tastings, hard cider tastings, wine by the glass or wine bottles. Visit for an experience found nowhere else in Kansas!

The Flint Hills Discovery Center is a dynamic tribute to the last major stand of unbroken tallgrass prairie. This 35,000-square-foot must-see attraction includes interactive exhibits highlighting the science, history, and culture of the ecoregion from pre-history to the present day.

The Tallgrass Tap House is an 11,000-square-foot brewpub located at 320 Poyntz Ave. Blending a modern, comfortable aesthetic with rustic accents, the Tap House has ample indoor seating with additional seating available seasonally on the rooftop patio, overlooking downtown Flint Hills. At the core of the Tap House is a 10-barrel brewhouse that produces a rotating lineup of craft brews featured on tap.
